so there's been a bit of learning how to read patterns...going well so far & almost completed this cute little kimono jacket in a gorgeous wool & bamboo blend yarn...sooooo soft.
excess eggplants were dealt with in the best way i know how...marination...yummm!my recipe was:
slice & dice eggplants, dose in salt, put in a colander over a pot with something heavy on top & let drain for 24 hours. rinse in vinegar. soak in vinegar for about 5 hours. place in a sterilised jar with garlic slices & top up with hot oil.
then there's this little crib blanket i'm working on...i'm about half way. i'm really enjoying my knitting at the moment!!over at lion brand yarns (i can't remember the web address), you can register for heaps of free patterns...my backlog is building up again. plus i even have a handbag in the pipeline as a special request.
