i'm still trying to perfect the recipe as it is still a bit course course inside. i'm using a local biodynamic white bakers flour which could be a little heavier than most, i've started adding some gluten flour to make it fluffier but it still isn't quite right. good...but needs to be better.
today is pasta sauce day (given that it is the only day we've had recently that isn't touching the high 30's in temperature, i have to squeeze in some serious cooking). the plan is to turn 5kg of tomatoes, 5 capsicums, 5 onions & some herbs into a lovely sauce that i'll jar up. just hope I get enough from my recipe...note for future - ensure that i record how many jars i get from this batch so that i remember for when i make it next time. last time i made it, i can't remember how many jars i got & i want heaps this time!!
