bloggy inspiration...

i haven't been well the last couple of weeks (i know, get out the violin) & therefore i have had frequent absences from internet access & the ability to view blogs & write on mine plus do anything creative. blogging is a wonderful thing, giving you access to inspiration that might have normally been unreachable.

so after my dose up today of bloggy inspiration my plan is to start some of the things i keep talking about & actually finish them.

project 1 - dog bed

why?

i have lots of remnant fabric i can make it out of, they cost a bomb at the stores (especially for 2 at this size), it won't be made offshore (except for the bit of foam probably) so less travel emmissions, the cover comes off for cleaning & because i can..

the plan is that our giant dogs will actually sleep on it, fit & be comfortable & less inclined to lie on the floor causing lots of limping the next morning or lie on our rug, creating a dog shagpile. my stuffing inside will be a square of foam about 6cm high & then an old doona on top of that for extra comfort . so here goes nothing...
