phew, what a weekend. with the wet & blustery weather yesterday, it was perfect sewing & organising weather. i made some 'i'm a gonna' piles of fabric, meaning i match fabric together for construction into a bag & declare that 'i'm a gonna' get round to that one day.a promise i made came to fruition (almost). the tshirt came together very quickly & easily but with an absent hubby to try it on, it'll have to wait a bit for finishing touches. any excuse to stop that & move onto a top for me, which i completed, love & wore it out last night. no pics just yet as the light was terrible.
on another note, i came across a tutorial to make fabric boxes, not that i can remember where. so i think thats another item that i'm going to add to the 'i'm a gonna' pile. they'd be perfect for using up remnant fabric & storing everything in, rather than baskets plus their construction method is very similar to making a bag...another mission.
